Students who have passed Class 10 can register, but must pass Class 12 before appearing for the exam. All streams (Commerce, Science, Arts) are eligible.
The first CA Foundation exam under the new scheme is scheduled for January 2026, with expected dates: 18, 20, 22, and 24 January 2026.
Students must score at least 40% in each paper and 50% overall. Papers 1 & 2 are descriptive; Papers 3 & 4 are MCQs. ICAI may remove negative marking.
